After graduating from Arizona
State University in 1987 with a degree in Business Management, Stein
pursued a career in the NFL. Stein decided to put his energy and
efforts into business after one year with the Kansas City Chiefs. In
1988, Stein was employed by CB Commercial working in the regional training
program, tracking available commercial real estate properties and calculating vacancy rates and
absorption statistics for the industrial marketplace throughout
Metropolitan Phoenix. This process included the daily calculation of
absorption numbers, tracking sale and lease transactions and physical
driving of the real estate market on a regular basis.
Stein has worked with various corporations and represented tenants
throughout Metropolitan Phoenix. Some of these clients include Kraft
Foods, Walgreens, Motorola, Shamrock Foods, Whirlpool Corporation, United
Parcel Service and ConAgra, to name a few.
Regarding landlord representation, Stein has been instrumental in the
leasing and the disposition of several industrial portfolios. Some
of his clients include, CIGNA, Metropolitan Life Insurance, EJM
Development, IDI, Jackson-Shaw Company, CSE Development, Bessemer Trust
Company and The Hewson Company.
